Wildflowers are grouped by flower color.  Click on the flower color and the list will be grouped by the number of petals and further grouped by the leaf arrangement.

The way we view and describe colors is highly subjective.  As space allows only a limited number of choices, I have chosen to limit my colors to: Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Yellow, and White

Clicking on the Scientific Name will open an image of the plant in a separate tab.  In most cases there will be additional images of the plant on that linked page.  Use your back arrow to return to the listing.

If you wish to search for your plant by Scientific or Common Name, click on one of those names  in the header and you will get a alphabetical list which shows the petal color or colors, leaf arrangement, and number of petals.  Knowing the leaf arrangement and number of petals will help you locate the plant when you go to the appropriate color group.

To return to the main key, click on the following word:  PLANTS
