  1. Thanks so much for your photos. I had been trying to identify a plant I dug up from a swampy area a couple of years ago which had not bloomed so splendidly as it now has done after all the rain we’ve experienced. I have two books, Taylor’s FL Wildflowers and a Falcon Guide entitled Central Florida Wildflowers by Hammer, but I couldn’t find a photo that matched the exact variety as your photos of Lythrum alatum Pursh var. lanceolatum. Henceforth I shall try your site first!
